Worth the wait

Is it worth it?
Is it worth sacrificing it all, putting it all on the line for that very moment? I like to believe so.

Do we value that particular experience so much that we give it our all? Will the turn-out or fall-out of it result in a significant moment to you, and will you remember that time as the time you stepped out in faith and did the right thing, made the right choice?

You better hope so.

We often think, oh its fine if I do this little thing, it won’t matter and our favourite cliché: Whats the worst that can happen?

I don’t know about you but where theres a will theres a way, and anything and everything are possible in any circumstance. So be careful what you wish for it might just happen.

Wow that was an enormous amount of clichés in those couple lines right there.

When we are egotistical and self-centred and only think of ourselves we tend to forget about putting others and others needs above our own. I know you struggle with this and so do I.

We need to try and humble ourselves before people and before God and we will see results, changes for the good and alterations.

In some positions we foolishly, naïvely and inadvertently put ourselves in, I believe taking those risks aren’t worth it. Now I say that because I believe that the repercussions if things go bad, out way the ramifications of the good times in a practical manner. Whether or not they do go wrong is not up to you.

Its not up to me, its not up to you. We will never know what will come out of those situations and how they’ll work. Past experiences tell me that when you get there, when you are at the “peak” of it all you will not and I say will not be able to cope and overcome it on your own. Without God it’s a impossibility.

If I had not turned to God for help and guidance I don’t know where I would be now and what sort of shape I would be in. I was falling and fast, we make it to the peak and get a big head and expect to stay there, but no you cannot stay there at all what so ever.

So when I say its worth the wait, believe me it is. Our maturity levels are not developed enough to be able to comprehend it and resist that sort of temptation.

Well at least my maturity is so far from there its mind-blowing, if yours is there and you believe it then as the old wise man says: Go4Gold. (-the l)

You're so right! It isn't worth making the choice to do the wrong thing for pleasure's sake! Nobody ever tells you that you'll regret it for the rest of your life!

And yes...it can be difficult to put others first before ourselves. We are living in a society that is always telling us to reach out to nobody...take care of self first. Yes, I do believe we have to take care of ourselves, but there's a limit to that! We are to be helpers one of another. Great stuff to say!
