Tsunami passes through the coastal cities. Posted by Hello

Going through the stages

Feeling tired Feeling drained Its all a start to something new: His comfort His presence Brings harmony from on high: God’s teaching His almighty hand Touches us close: The love He brings His peace Transcends all understanding: Thanksgiving and praise He loves us dear Thriving on the relationship counts more: Helping us to learn Frustration and exasperation Keeps us on our toes: Rise up Step out We just have to believe: Alone and scared We call upon his safety Always there to welcome us: He protects us everyday Just asking is the key To unlock our blessings: Giving up our lives Its something we always learning To give then receive: His will is immense It overshadows ours Its what we should be aiming for: To be or not to be Glorified that is Its what He wants: Being all He wants us to be We try and try again Forgiveness all the way: The Lord has our heart We just have to offer He just takes whats already His: He holds me close Touches my heart Developing my relationship with Him: Its definitely a goal I’m willing to start.

The damage has been done, only thing left now is to pick up the ruins. Posted by Hello

Not living His way are we?

Hey I'm sure most people have heard of the Tsunami that recently took place just off the shore of Malaysia and Phuket. Heres some extracts I've found:

Jayanti Lakshmi, 70, had gone shopping with her daughter-in-law in Cuddalore, southern India. Ms Lakshmi returned to find her son and twin grandsons dead in their hut.
"I wish I had died instead of the others, my daughter-in-law would have a life. I can't bear to watch her pain," she said.

Up to 1,000 passengers are dead or missing from a train that was flung off its tracks by this week's massive tsunami, police said, as workers on Tuesday cremated or buried bodies from the twisted wreckage.

All New Year’s Eve dances at major hotels in Colombo have been cancelled, following the disastrous situation prevailing in the country.

British tourist Alex Dee in Phuket told Sky News: "It was total devastation. People were running up to the jungle and mountains, basically running for their lives just trying to get away from the water."

"I've lost my granddaughter in all of this. I was swept away by an absolutely massive wave. . . I was lucky enough to get stuck in some trees and was able to hold my breath," he said.

"My sister and her husband are in the Maldives. We are all so worried. Let us all pray that God is watching over all those involved," Nikkie Robinson, of Dover in England, told Sky News.

Its said recently on Sky News that the current total death toll is a massive 55,000 people.

I've been looking at all this and following it over the last couple days and it sure makes one think, I mean was this God or Satan's doing, and why there? Those were my 1st 2 questions. To think that God let this all happen or even made this happen is something I find hard to grasp since He loves us so much.

My mind then jumped to think but it was in Sri-Lanka and India and those places, aren't those predomently muslim countries, so maybe God wanted to get rid of a "few" people. I don't know, it just sucks when you read articles like these of peoples whole houses gone and family members all dead and they are left on the beach with nothing but a costume and towel, thats it, there whole life gone in a matter of minutes.

The last major "disaster" that shook the world was the September 11th attack and boy did that cause a stir, it sure did in my home. Look at how many people died there and now look, 55,000 and counting.

One of the stories that amazed me was the one of the guy who managed to hold on to a tree and he said he managed to hold his breath while the wave crashed by.

This event hurt alot of people and an interesting comment I read was, "The lucky ones are dead" whether you believe in luck or not is not the point, I tend to agree with it, I mean really what are left with when everything you have is destroyed? If this had to happen to you and you were left on a beach with a costume and towel and nothing else is that everything gone out of your life?

They say that you can take everything away from me except my mind and memories but is that enough to carry on your life and not to look back? I dont believe so, Jesus Christ would be your only person left to turn to, the only person to speak to, the only reason to keep living your life.

Thank you, if you got any opinion on this saga at all you can comment or email me.

End of my days

The end is near, the dawning approaches
She waits in anticipation
Assuming the position

Looking back, she admires her growth
The changes which took place
Keeping fond memories close to her heart

She takes the next step
Not knowing whats out there
Afraid, yet irresistible towards her new found glory

The life she once had, the people she once knew
It all comes to a stop, it all comes to an end
Shes growing up, taking anew

Leaving her comfort zone
Heading into the wilderness
With God’s child, his precious love one

He will never let her go
He will never forsake her
‘till the end of her days

Timeless Memories

Time moves on,
We forget the past

Quickly but oh so slowly,
Realising those moments

It brings out the best in us,
Fond memories of a past time

Some enjoyable,
Some long-forgotten

Unfortunately,
We have some memories

That weren’t enjoyable,
That we’d rather forget

Yet they are here to stay,
Living the now creates those memories

Timeless time after time we tend to forget,
How much the good ones mean to us.

Expectancy level rises

We are supposed to expect a lot out of what God’s gonna do on a certain day or in a certain place to certain people, and we all here it over and over: don’t box God.

Why not? Whats it all mean? Well there are many of us out there who say well I know I box God, but what can I really do about it, I mean I’m human I cant just stop boxing God, that’s impossible.

I believe it is impossible. We box God a lot at the beginning not really knowing much about him, but when we start to get to know God and understand how He works, I believe that our box starts to get bigger and bigger, see we will never see all of Gods glory until we are in heaven and if we did we would surely die just like those priests in the old testament.

So the thing is we can never stop boxing God, but our box can grow bigger, as we see God more and more, comprehending his majesty and splendour.

I recently attended a camp where by I stood face to face with what the devil had in planned for a particular night and what God had in mind.

Somebody got terribly injured and when something out of the ordinary happens people are suddenly forced out of their comfort zones and actually don’t have a clue what to do.

When that happens to me, the only thing I can do is pray, and that’s what we did, that’s all we did. No big acts of courageous acts or spontaneous thinking, we all just stopped the fun we were having and started to pray.

It was one of those times where you see things differently and your perspectives get shifted off the scale, you start to see how easy it is to get in a situation like that, and are thankful that it wasn’t you.

You know that all that can happen is either something good or bad, but we knew that the chances of anything good happening here was slim. We left everything up to God, we knew that it was all in his hands, and all we could do was plead and supplicate for his mercy upon the man’s life.

People look at things, people, places in assured ways and when that is switched around they have nothing to fall back on, nothing to retreat too except God, that’s how it should be and we know it but sadly it isn’t.

I am like that and I’m sure you are too. We are so secure in our “friendship” with Jesus Christ that we sit back and become way too complacent. We say alls well, it’ll be fine and yes things will be fine, it is all good.

And when we get faced with the situation of one of your fiends dying in front of your eyes or finding your sister trying to commit suicide, is all things hunky dory now?

That’s up to you to decide. I’m not saying we must not trust in God and believe that He’ll protect us; I’m saying that we must actually know and acknowledge that.

By being expectant of God, and expecting the impossible, the unfeasible, the impracticable are we doing just that?

Believing that the super-natural could happen. I’m not sure of how much I believe it. We’ve all heard of the gift of healing, what like someone healing a guys sore finger? No, I’m saying seeing a guy’s leg grow back in front of you, or seeing a man paralysed get up and walk in the name of Jesus Christ.

That’s the type of thing God wants to do, better, greater, more, more its what He wants, He doesn’t want to be doing these half-hearted miracles He wants the real thing, God is the real thing, He wants to show it.

Yet time and time again we fail in that department, we think we are a “rocking” Christian but yet we box God so much that we restrict the things He wants to do in our lives.

Philippians 3v21
Who shall change our evil body, that it may be fashioned like his glorious body, according to the working that he is able even to subdue all things to himself?

After all our prayer for that guy who’s possibilities of not being paralysed from the head down was slim, we then found out that he was absolutely fine, and there was nothing wrong with him. Great doctors, or something else?

Jesus Christ has everything subject to himself, and everything was created for him and him alone, even us.

So give God all He deserves, let his Full will be done in your life, like I’m trying in mine.

Against the doubt of the nations

How many times do you question your faith?

How many times do you think about it and ponder if it is all really true? Essentially how many times do you doubt your relationship and friendship with our saviour Jesus Christ?

I do it many times, but its weird, I experience God with all His glory, mercy and power and I know He is real and I believe He is real, yet in the back of my mind, my soul is saying "dont believe, its not true".

It irritates me how it doesnt keep quiet, you need to pray against that sort of doubt. We have to stay strong and ask God for his spirit of strength to keep us strong and safe in his arms.

Matthew 21:21
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If you have faith, and do not doubt , you shall not only do what is done to the fig tree, but also if you shall say to this mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Jesus said that now that doesnt just mean having more faith in him and what He can do, its about how much you believe He can do is how much He shall do. If you dont believe that He can do much, than He wont do much.

We talk alot about boxing God but if we did it less and less, we would receive more revelations and understand God more, see him more, experience him more.

I believe that we all box God to a certain degree, the more you know about God the less you should box him and the less you know the more you will box him. Its indirectly proportional.

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.

So remember that and live by it always, and look at your friends who arent saved, how will they get to the Kingdom read that verse above!

The new BMW 1series Posted by Hello

James holding the sun. imagine what power would be in his hands. imagine we had power like that. God doesnt just hold the sun in his hands He holds the whole universe! so to all those occultists who hover a pencil for 4 seconds take a look at that. Posted by Hello

Sleeping awake whilst listening attentively

Complicated title? Maybe it is. Maybe it isn’t. What do you think about people who constantly live their lives like that?

Complicating things by never stepping out in faith because they are too scared of what others think of them.

They persistently stay in the dark and never grow closer to God for living a Godly life is being dead to yourself, by giving up your life and doing what ever God asks you to do.

These particular people who don’t give God all He deserves and don’t give him all the Glory and don’t live their lives like a Christian should, they don’t get to experience God to his legitimate capacity.

God loves these people of course just as much as He loves you and me, so now why do these people not do what is required of them?

I believe that they have an image, everyone has an image to a certain degree, and they cannot and will not relinquish that image in fear of becoming too exposed and vulnerable.

So these people are in fact stronger than we initially expected and they are very hard to break. They are strong on the outside and don’t let anyone in but on the inside they are incredibly soft.

First and for mostly you need to start praying for them to get better perspectives on things, for revelations they will be small at first but the big ones will come.

As long as you aren’t one of these people who are half-hearted Christians and are fully committed to God then you shall always be witnessing to them so its all good?

Not always. There comes a time when you start to notice things about your fellow Christian friend. They go to church, they read their bible and they pray.

Seems fine but if you stop talking and close your mouth and listen attentively* you can observe many things you wouldn’t ordinarily perceive.

You see, you hear people talking, people gossiping, people telling lies and spreading rumours. You listen to people saying things about your fellow Christian friend you’d rather not hear.

Things like, “Well he does it and he’s a Christian so its fine for us to do it”. That’s giving all Christians a bad reputation. It just takes one of us to step out of line, and people won’t forget.

Ephesians 6:16-17 Above all, taking the shield of faith, where you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

1Thessalonians 5:8-10
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
For God has not appointed us to anger, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Who died for us, that, whether we are awake or asleep, we should live together with him.

So we have to watch out how we act and react all the time, put on that helmet of salvation and make sure that if people scrutinize you they will not be able to find fault. Its what we need to be aiming for. Till next time*

The ultimate number, it is perfect on all sides, mentions hundreds of times through out the Bible. look at the precision of that number, this is Gods unofficial number, so if you dont already have a favourite number I recon this would be a good choice. The square is 49 the cube is 343 and if you add the didgets of 343 together you almost get 9. so thats another great reason to pick it, it also is the luckiest number out there today, its been proven time and time again. this number is 7SeVeN7 Posted by Hello
