check out this Nokia futuristic model. its not real but just think of the most high tech phone at the moment and think how it would look in say 10-15 years time? it makes you think about how much we technalize stuff and things. Posted by Hello

Worth the wait

Is it worth it?
Is it worth sacrificing it all, putting it all on the line for that very moment? I like to believe so.

Do we value that particular experience so much that we give it our all? Will the turn-out or fall-out of it result in a significant moment to you, and will you remember that time as the time you stepped out in faith and did the right thing, made the right choice?

You better hope so.

We often think, oh its fine if I do this little thing, it won’t matter and our favourite cliché: Whats the worst that can happen?

I don’t know about you but where theres a will theres a way, and anything and everything are possible in any circumstance. So be careful what you wish for it might just happen.

Wow that was an enormous amount of clichés in those couple lines right there.

When we are egotistical and self-centred and only think of ourselves we tend to forget about putting others and others needs above our own. I know you struggle with this and so do I.

We need to try and humble ourselves before people and before God and we will see results, changes for the good and alterations.

In some positions we foolishly, naïvely and inadvertently put ourselves in, I believe taking those risks aren’t worth it. Now I say that because I believe that the repercussions if things go bad, out way the ramifications of the good times in a practical manner. Whether or not they do go wrong is not up to you.

Its not up to me, its not up to you. We will never know what will come out of those situations and how they’ll work. Past experiences tell me that when you get there, when you are at the “peak” of it all you will not and I say will not be able to cope and overcome it on your own. Without God it’s a impossibility.

If I had not turned to God for help and guidance I don’t know where I would be now and what sort of shape I would be in. I was falling and fast, we make it to the peak and get a big head and expect to stay there, but no you cannot stay there at all what so ever.

So when I say its worth the wait, believe me it is. Our maturity levels are not developed enough to be able to comprehend it and resist that sort of temptation.

Well at least my maturity is so far from there its mind-blowing, if yours is there and you believe it then as the old wise man says: Go4Gold. (-the l)

The secret to success

They say The Secret To Success is:
-the doing
-in statistics
-preparation
-doing what you love best
-to be logical, think clearly and work hard.

Then you get deep ones like, The Secret to Success is:
-falure

-to watch plenty of TV and to choose lucky numbers in the lottery

i like the first one, and agree with it, duna about da second one tho...

"The secret to success is knowing something no one else knows"
I like that to a degree. its intersting really like most of these what you think?

I think that the secret to success is there is no secret. It's up to you. If you want to be average, you can be. If you want to be the best, you can be.

...

Feeling weak, feeling sad? people who dont have God are the ones who aren't supposed 2 feel happy, aren't supposed 2 feel accepted, but what happens if thats you? you are a Christian but you feel 'not there' like theres no joy, its all gone. you have good times with your friends, at school, where ever but when they fall away , and all you have is Jesus Christ: that is wen we should be our strongest, being able 2 get influenced by only Jesus is gotta be the way to go, no sin to influence you. imagine living on an island with all the items you need; food, water, house everything but nobody else, could you live without social benefits? i cant. i just cant. i need help, we need help. we need to come up with sum sort of solution, i cant go on feeling this way, it shouldnt be this way, that brokeness we once had should be filled, but wat happens if it starts to open up again? where do we go from there? how? i dont know, i just dont.

It is possible but is it probable?

For the mere possibility of something happening good or bad is so large that the chances are they will happen. There are many questions surrounding the issue and I am still battling through quite an important so called “opportunity”.

Its possible: Anything is possible with Jesus Christ said many times in the Bible and we all know it. Here is a verse;

Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

So theres our biblical background on that. The time of when they can and will happen is determinable only by God for He controls all things.

Its probable: We come to luck and chance. Whether or not something will happen determines on how close we hold it to our hearts and how, this is all good providing that you believe in luck and chance, I personally don’t.

We learn about in mathematics the probability of doing something or of getting something right. Whether it is likely for something to happen also is determined by how much faith you have and how much you trust, and whether your trust is in the correct place plays a role.

In Jeremiah 17:5 it talks about putting your trust in the right places and that trusting in man you will fail, but trusting in God you will succeed.

When we pray for things, even thing which aren’t bygones or little things and are actually really important to you, friends, family or whatever, I always seem to think, it will happen, theres no way this cannot be God’s will, I mean wouldn’t God want someone to get saved?

It is really the world pulling a blanket over eyes. Yes seriously, we pray for things and the world says, “We don’t see anything happening, therefore there is no God.”

We must not fall into the trap of doubting; it is what satan wants us to do. If we don’t see manifestations in people immediately we mustn’t think that nothing is happening and that our prayers are ineffectual or that we are inadequate.

We must believe that it is happening that’s where the faith comes in, pray with confidence. Then we think, but I do all that why don’t I see things happening?

When we pray for peoples salvation or for getting people to witness to them, people will plant seeds without you knowing and that can ultimately lead to their salvation.

So we must not feel disconsolate when we see nothing happening, it is not outside distinctions which are changing it is the inside. Once the inside has started to develop we will see changes in the outside appearance and deeds of that person.

1 Corinthians 12:7 - the spirits manifestation is shown in some way in each person for the good of all.

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengths me.

As a result all things are possible with God and we can do all things through Jesus Christ who lives in and strengthens us. And if we believe all things are probable to happen.

Keep that with you and you can defeat the world just like Jesus did.

The Pentagram

The above picture folks, now dont get frightened, just listen up. Posted by Hello
Heres a bit of history for you, the pentagram with 5 points to the Hebrews indicated the Pentateuch, you know the 1st 5 books of the Bible, which im sure you have all read... In turn it then represented the whole concept of truth. They also represented the four elements of this world: earth, fire, water, wind and the top point as being the spirit.

The picture on the left is a pentagram with one point at the top and two at the bottom, it has a picture of a mans body inscribed on it: this is just to show how the star is layed out. In the medievil times the 5 points of that star represent the 5 injuries Jesus suffered at the hands of the Jews. The nails in his hands and feet and the crown of thorns on his head. This sign therefore is supposed to be a Christian sign, believe it if you wish.

Right I now get to the second picture on the right. Now you may think, oh thats just the upsidedown version of the Jesus pentagram, but apparently not. In the nineteenth century, a man by the name of Eliphas Lévi, an Occultist, decided to turn this sign upsidedown and invert it into a simbolic sign of evil. That is a goats head, which is also called a "Baphomet". There was a differentiation of good and evil symbolised by the pentagram.

The "Baphomet" has become the official symbol of The Church Of Satan, which was started by Anton Szandor La Vey in 1966, he was also the man who wrote the satanic bible and various other books on the occult.

Well thats it for our history lesson today on the occult and one of their "signature signs" be sure to join us next time when we talk to the chairperson of "Citizens Raging Against Phones" [C.R.A.P] and Phillipino Arbuckles book on the "Giraffe exercises for the young and the restless" and learning to garden with turnips, yum yum. Be sure to tune in, till next time.

"The Power Of Seven, Inc" Posted by Hello

Keeping the stand

Being able, being strong, being capable, being “it”, being what God always wanted you to be.

Whats it like really?
You doing it right?
Yes I’m doing it “The Christian” way of course. So that’s the right way, it says it in the Bible so it’s all good. The thing is we doing it the right way?

Are we doing it the actual Christian way?
Sadly its not so, we aren’t.

Thing we do, things we say, things we impress upon others – its not all good. We think because we are Christian we are doing it the right way?

I see Christians taking swearing, blaspheming, smoking, drinking and getting drunk of all things. It’s not right for us to be doing these things, people, the world, satan watches us, waits for us to mess up, waiting to entice us.

We step out of line once and people judge us,
“Look at him, he’s a Christian, he swears so it’s fine for me to do it”. Rubbish! Why do we constantly do this to ourselves?

We do something wrong and satan is clever, he sees our errors, our mistakes, our weaknesses and exploits them. He is always watching and rubs it in our faces all the time. Keeping the stand is hard especially when it’s in an area where you are weak.

Unfortunately it often is, and we do mess up, we do commit those sins. And we all know what’s done is done, and we can’t go back to it and do it again. We know that all too well, so why do we keep holding onto the past? We need to give it to God quickly, we shouldn’t linger and cling to the problem, we should let it go.

Once it’s gone, we can move on, we’ve closed that door and can open new ones, good ones, ones from God. Ones that He will always open for us if we ask him, it all comes in time and we need to acknowledge that.

Of course like most big problems in our lives they take time to heal, but we need to understand that before healing comes realising that you have a problem and need help on it, counselling, prayer or whatever.

Asking God to heal you and asking other people to pray for you is good, by consolidating these two, we can receive remedial help.

So we have to make sure we are giving the correct impressions on people, especially NC’s (non-Christians).

If we tend to suffer with sin, and not receiving healing we need to deel with that, just keep this verse with you:

1Peter 4:16 If any man suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

There must be more than this

When all seem to fail and you are just left there. You’ve prayed so hard but yet nothing seems to change everything is the same and it just keeps getting worse. Holding onto the promises of God and it seems so hard. What can you do?
Acts 1vs8 promises us power when we receive the Holy Spirit and yet there seems to be no power.
Or is there, is it just that our eyes aren’t open, that we miss out on something. This power is a work in the Spiritual, when we pray things change. The angels are sent out. The battle has been won and the victory is ours.
I think that before anything can happen in the physical it must first happen in the Spiritual.
Every victory everything, the manifestation is what happens in the physical. You see every witnessing opportunity and every time you are used by God the victory must be won in the spiritual. So often we judge our success by what we see happening around us and don’t look top what God is doing.
So first do the damage in the spiritual and then God will manifest it in the physical. We do have this power the problem is hat most of the time we don’t realise it.
Let’s look to God, pray holds the power.
All the glory to Him forever.
Be Blessed
That Guy

Somebody who uses long words is a sesquipedalianist, and this style of writing is sesquipedalianism. The noun sesquipedality means “lengthiness”. If such words are not enough, there’s always hyperpolysyllabicsesquipedalianist for someone who enjoys using really long words.

Looking into the distance

You know looking into the distance or from another perspective actually seems to change a lot of things all the time. Usually its for the better, well just in my experiences it is.

I mean God could change your heart and you could check something in the total opposite direction at a different speed on a lower or higher altitude which could help when you need a wake up call.

You could also be having an on-going argument or sumin like that and then you could either see where the other person is coming from or their point of view and appreciate what they have to say, and even maybe see where you are going wrong and then you think: What, why was I doing that, why didn’t I see it this way!?

It does help I find, but some times it takes an exuberant person and a long time to sort it out and change your way of looking, but in the end it helps us a lot.

I remember a person telling me to put myself in someone elses shoes once, I knew this saying all too well, but cant say I actually did it. Like stepped outer my secure box and did it!

I did and woah did I get a shock! Its weird how we can be so naïve one minute then so clued up the next. We must just keep telling God to work in our heart changing our worldly views we all love to have.

Submit them - give the glory - stay strong - go with God.

Deliverance

God delivers
Through think and thin
Its his will, not ours
He is in control all the time
Even though the realisation isn’t there
Faith is the key factor
He gets us out of sticky situations
And delivers us from the evil one
We keep it or leave it
Its simple, no high tech intellect can explain it
Or comprehend its reliableness
It starts with believing
Believing=faith=deliverance
As for me
I like all three

Time’s enchanted powers

It revolves around everything
And everything revolves around it
Its an endless waste of space and gratitude
We try to see how long it is
Or when it all started
Is there a point to this travesty?
We are unsure when it will end
Relying on the future to bring us fame and fortune
Is a tough bet
Relying on God is a safer option
There is no option really
He is the only one who steps out
of its bounds and chains of hope
he was the architect for whispering out loud
he created then destroyed
all planned of course
we put our trust in him and time is nothing
but an endless bunch of numbers
all we can do is wait
still waiting in anticipation for his glorious appearing

Sitting Ducks

Have you ever done a “heroic deed” or at least felt like you did one? Have you ever felt like you have stopped a crime, or an innocent thing from getting hurt? You feel as if you saved humanity and society from your magnificent act of kindness?

Well that’s how I felt yesterday. It was an ordinary day, I decided to take my dog for a walk and little did I know, I would be in the greenbelt for a longer time than I had initially expected.

I get down to the river at the bottom and there out of the ordinary were 1…2…3……10 small ducks. Tiny and black with white touching.

It was rad to see God’s awesome creation, so small, but yet so exquisite. I toyed with the idea of being Mr Rescue man and go in and save them for they were stuck in the middle with big rocks around all sides. I came to the conclusion they were either going to die by the current against the rocks or starvation.

I decided to help them, and took off my sandals and got into the water. (By this time my dog had high-tailed it outer there) I get in and try to figure out how to get all 10 out of there. I realised that the only way was to pick up each individual duck and put them on the top of the rock, so they could swim off to where the mother was.

If you ever try to do this at home, remember that small ducks like these don’t bite, I mean I was scared of these puny things but then I realised that I’m just slightly bigger and smarter than they were.

I salvaged about seven of them and the other two where difficult to get, after about 15 minutes I had got nine and the last one climbed into a rock so I couldn’t get it.

I then thought, my work here is done, and I took my sandals and headed home, dog-less. I thanked God for an awesome opportunity to save some small creatures.

The next day I did the same thing, taking my dog for a walk, I went to check if they were still there and were ok. I got to the river and saw 3 of them in the same place stuck again! I thought really don’t these things learn? I called my mom and we both got them outer there, I looked around for the other seven but couldn’t find any of them.

When I was leaving I saw a huge falcon fly out of the tree above where I were standing and its wing span was about 2feet and then it hit me like a brick wall,(not the bird…) what if all those birds I saved yesterday, got devoured by that falcon?

I then started to thing, why God why? I did such a “good deed” yesterday and now you let them die hours afterwards. It’s just not fair is it; I now get onto how this affects us.

Back track abit and remember the one I didn’t catch the first time, “the one that got away” oh the one that got away, we use this cliché way too much.

Why do we think about the one that got away and not about the other nine that we manage to save? I mean would we rather save nine or loose one? In Christianity it’s the same, getting nine into heaven is better than loosing one. Right?

So why then do we still constantly beat ourselves up by not saying something exhorting to someone, when we had the chance? Or when we miss an opportunity why do we keep thrashing at ourselves. We are so worried about what people think of us, that we pull our own self-esteem down by thinking that we are such failures as Christians, and don’t deserve to be in a relationship with Jesus Christ, which is right we don’t, I mean what can we offer God? What can we give to him that he doesn’t already have?

The thing is He loves, cares, prospers, treasures and flourishes us. We mean so much to him that He actually gave his son to us for an important reason, for a greater relationship with us.

So then we come to the postulation that when we mess up or don’t do what is right every time, He forgives us. Its just like the duck, God wasn’t angry that I didn’t save the one duck; He was pleased that I saved the other nine.

Even though the other seven may have died that same day, it essentially doesn’t matter.

We just have to remember that it’s not what we don’t do; it’s what we do that matters. Whether that’s a good deed here or a complement there, it’s all good, and God appreciates that.

We must not be, excuse the pun but “sitting ducks” we need to go out there and do God’s will.

Proverbs 3:5-7 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

2 Cor 5:12 We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us, so that you can answer those who take pride in what is in the heart.

Therefore we must humble ourselves before God and thank him in every circumstance. Anything that we do that receives Glory is not from ourselves but from God.

what do you see? no look closer what do you see? Posted by Hello

Driving a Formula 1 car...

You know sometimes when you do something, not out of the ordinary but just a “good” thing that yo should be doing or whatever as a Christian we should be doing. You do it and nothing really happens, like you are kind to someone and they don’t really appreciate it or thank you in anyway.

You just shrug it off and think; oh they’ll get it one day.

But have you ever actually done one of those “nice” things and that non-Christian or Christian, or whoever actually stops everything and turns to you to thank you for what you did. I mean we don’t expect it and then it comes and we like “huh? O sure anytime”

I think that its opportunities passing us by and we just aren’t ready so we don’t know what to do. We don’t experience them ordinarily so we are in a sense inexperienced.

The problem is how to overcome that inexperience? Only way is to experience it more and more, till we get used to what it is and can dominate from then onwards.

So what we need to learn is to be able to take those opportunities when they arise, I mean we pray for them all the time, and sometimes don’t even expect them to happen.

They happen, oh yes they do, I’ve experienced it first hand, and its not that hard really it isn’t. We don’t have to search the depths of the earth to find them, usually they are right under our noses and we never pick it up!

And it sucks it really does, we just have to open our eyes as wide as humanly possible, and still its hard. So what to do?

For me I have many things going on in my life and often neglect those little things and I think that I have “more important” things to do.

So naïve we are. There are people out there who don’t know who our creator and saviour is? You know that? You better because they better not stay that way. What do you plan to do about it?

What do I plan to do about it? I don’t know really, mr cynical does it again. Minus one point to me, as usually looking in the wrong direction, not realising what we should be doing, we often completely loose the plot, we are still on the right path but just standing still.

We need to be on the right path, driving a formula 1 Mclaren car ahead of the pack, going for gold. Im serious we need to know what we are doing, where we are going, and constantly re-check ourselves for errors, faults and mistakes in all becoming like Christ is no easy deal.

If we are planning to be like him in the future we better start changing ourselves in the present.

2 Cor 5:17 therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature, old things will pass away and behold all things will become new.

Keep that in mind till next time.

Emosions running wild - again

You things happen, people change, you change for the better or worse it doesn’t matter we are all still changing to sum degree. I change you change we all change, it’s a not-so-vicious cycle going round and round again.

As Christians we should be changing to become more like Jesus, but sadly sometimes that does not happen. Whether we know it or not, people can see it. People who know us: our friends, family they see it.

I’ve experienced change in my life before and looking back most of it is good, growing deeper with God everyday, but of course there’s bad habits, bad behaviour, bad conduct and we try not to notice but sub-consciously we do and our spirit isn’t happy and silently convicts us and we back on our path, so that’s all hunky dory isn’t it?

The problem is emotions. Yes emotions, by getting too involved or too implicated in something we forget what the right things to do, and our discernment lacks tremendously. Our soul does consist of emotions which aren’t all bad, love etc, but when you take in out of context or out of play, we tend to forget.

It seems to happen with us a lot, we get too involved and bam we get burnt over and over again, and our flesh just laps it up and we want more, more, till we get to a place where there is no way out and we don’t have a choice but take the situation head on.

Maybe we can fight it on our own! Maybe we can overcome it ourselves! Maybe we can use it to our benefit! It can’t be bad what I’m doing right? I mean I’m having fun so what’s the harm?

Gee that’s what I used to think, boy was I wrong. And ouch does it hurt when the realisation hits, and you start to see things from a different angle, outside the box. We start to see the bigger picture and start to see how badly wrong we were going.

We then gotta try get out of it on our own which again doesn’t work, and we just make things worse. We then just start going back to front in the opposite way, in the reverse backwards order, and that not so good.

Only until we can actually realise what we are doing wrong can we fix it. I didn’t realise what was going on until too late, and got burnt in the process. So we have to watch how far we go into things, relationships, activities, contact etc. the thing is not to see how is too far. But how can I glorify God in what I’m doing.

And whatever you are doing, you should try to glorify God by doing it. So if we do something, and we are not sure, then we must think: does this make my Jesus proud or disappointed? If you are unsure it would probably be the latter. But then we think what about those situations when we really aren’t sure we should take an outer perspective and look from say your best friends angle, how would they feel if they found out what you did?

Angry, disappointed, sad, miserable, depressed, let down, upset, irritated, annoyed, cross, offended, troubled, saddened, disturbed, bothered, anxious.

Just some of the many things I would not like my friends to look at me and think those sixteen things. It would make me feel broken inside.

Brokenness? Well its simple, Gods will is not for us to have broken relationships, build on shame, melancholy and misery. But He wants us to be excited, loving, happy, joyful and content with what we have.

So you have brokenness somewhere in the areas of your life? I do. we all do somewhere, we just have to look.

1 John 3:22 ”Whatever we ask, we shall receive, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.”

If he is not pleased with what we do, we shall not do his commands, as a result we shall not ask and consequently we shall not receive.

I want to challenge you to look at the things you do, day in day out, big or so, so small but it still counts, involve God in every place in your life and you will be rewarded. Glorify him and praise his name and most of all give thanks for the amazing things He has done in your life, as He has in mine.

Topics of choice, or is it?

I was thinking about what I want 2 be when I grow up, leave school, get a job, go to university etc. And I was thinking the question why?

Why do we think about this and think about it and think about it over and over again? When these thoughts were running through my mind which happens too often, I realised what’s the fuss? Why do people constantly worry about the future, of what it would have in store for us and what we will be doing, where we will be doing it and with whom?

Too many Qs but no As. Why that is the main topic today class. why?

The first excuse or answer if u could call it that: was that we are insecure. Some people are some people aren’t. But I believe that we all are to a certain degree. We have our not-so-secure families or so we think we have, and we have our not-so-secure lives, which we still think we have, but what will we do when push comes to shove and shove comes to throwing someone out a bus or something like it.

We think we are so secure but has something really big happened in your live? Moving towns, schools, countries, someone dying? Suicide in your family?
How about a guy who woke up one night and went into his bathroom only to find his 19yr old sister with cut wrists bleeding to death on the floor, that happened to you? Oh did I mention he doesn’t have a mom or dad?

Yeah can you imagine living like that guy? I definitely cannot. I don’t know how I could live without my family. I’m sure you feel the same way. Just imagine.

We just don’t understand and cannot comprehend how blessed we are. In soooo many ways, family Christian friends, a church to go to! Yes alot of people can’t even do that! Life for one thing is a blessing for me.

We say we are thankful to God, but are we really do we thank him enough for what he has done for us? Us minuscule beings? I definitely don’t but I try to.

He does look at our heart that we try our best. Then getting back to how much we worry and fret about normal bygone things, its just that some people not all don’t seem to realise that its God’s will for us to do some things and us not to do something’s, which we do anyways despite that.

We spend our time involved in activities which some frown upon and which we do no-matter what people think, but when we keep on thinking about the future we are actually lusting about what we could do, are going to do, or want to do. Lusting may be quite a harsh term, but it’s the truth.

The conception that us Christians don’t seem to understand is that, GOD IS ON CONTROL. Yes he is which actually means he is in control and we have A) nothing to fear B) we don’t have to worry about the future C) He will sort things out, providing there is prayer.

So it all comes down to the question why?

We are insecure to a degree and aren’t sure about the routes we want to take or the routes that we aren’t sure we should take or the routes which we aren’t sure that we should be taking, or something like that.

The bottom line is, if you aren’t sure or are confused about an issue or problem, its called a burden we have to overcome right? The only way to overcome such burdens is to give them over to our Lord and redeemer, Jesus Christ. He will sort it out and is faithful and just to do it.

We gotta prayer about it whatever the issue, time management and getting the essentials in our day, exams, schools, relationships everything!

Sometimes we back ourselves into a corner by doing something little or saying something small and there’s no turning back from it. We can either submit straight away and let your opposition win, and claim that glory our flesh so yearningly wants. Or we can hand it over to God and see what he has to say or do. it all depends on the situation of course just use your discernment, which we all have to an extent and see how it goes.

If you got questions or queries or neting plz give me a shout or email/post sumin. Thanks.

Suffering against sin

All day we ask ourselves why?
Why us? But we are God’s people
Why should we suffer?

We try our best, after turning from sin
We cast our burdens to Jesus
and we still wonder why he lets the things
that happen to us, happen to us

They say there is a blessing in suffering
when? Before, during or after?

The Lord watches those who do good
And those who do bad
wondering how some could have fallen so low

He tests us everyday looking for weakness
seeing if we would crack
we press on wondering when this will end
justified, purified, sanctified
what’s the difference?

Nothing can harm us with Jesus Christ
Come judgement day
The righteous and holy will have justice

Blessings will be poured out
upon the folk whom have suffered
make sure you are one of them

The Lord Reigns

God reigns like a pride of lions
Dominating, his light shines upon us
Like butterflies in our stomach
He shows his amazing glory everyday
But there is no appreciation for it
We thrive for a relationship
But get lost at the beginning
He comes like a rushing wind
Ready to sweep us off our feet
We resist and get taken away
To a place we’d rather stay away from
He clothes us with his infinite love
We mess up time and time again
But he’s always listening
He’ll never gifts up
My Reigning Lord
